In the lead up to Nationals, training is getting more difficult!

If you have any injuries, old or new, or something that has been bothering you and limiting your training, book in for an appointment with our physio MEL!

Mel is in Mondays and Wednesdays, working out of the Dance Studio.

NEED TO BRUSH UP ON YOUR BASICS FOR TRYOUTS?

REC CHEER is not just for beginners or non-competitive athletes! We welcome all of our DT athletes to these sessions to help them brush up on their basics and work their technique and skills to aid them in their routines and assist them to succeed at tryouts in December!

Rec Cheer sessions are as follows:

TUESDAY and FRIDAY, 4-5:30

Want to get in a little extra practice with your stunt group before competition? Contact Coach Maddy to let her know you will be coming in, and use this fantastic opportunity to hit your stunts BEAUTIFULLY! (FRIDAY SESSION ONLY)

 

ATTENDANCE

A reminder that all training in the 3 weeks leading up to competition is COMPULSORY, a per the 2017 Handbook. Any athletes who miss training may be replaced in sections for the benefit of the team. For planned absences, Please notify your coaches as soon as possible. If you are going to be missing training, you must let your coaching know PRIOR to the beginning of class.

 

HEALTH AND WELLBEING IN THE LEADUP TO NATIONALS

We always encourage our athletes to be looking after themselves, not just for competition, but for life!

Training is intense in, especially in the lead up to our biggest competition of the year. 

Please be staying hydrated and eating well in the coming weeks! The heat is rising both inside and outside of the gym and studio!

 

CLASSES OVER THE LONG WEEKEND

Please be reminded that classes will be continuing over the long weekend, unless otherwise advised.  Please see the 2017 handbook, and speak to your coaches if you are unsure about anything.
